The All New 2020 Blog


This is where I'll be communicating in 2020... replacing the 'Articles' page with a more brief and sometimes concise avenue for venting, sharing and previewing...

I'm looking forward to 2020 which will see my second and perhaps even my  third book hit the stores, shelves and libraries worldwide... 

I tend to write books like I used to for university papers with two or three ideas being worked on simultaneously so no one idea goes stale or gets too clinical and it seems to work although probably takes a bit longer for each project to develop... 

The new decade will be interesting both globally and here in New Zealand with our 2020 general election looming and the hope that the current Labour, Greens and NZ First government will be dispatched in favour of more business oriented governance that actually rewards people for their work ethic rather than encouraging long-term benefit living as a career choice...

We have been lucky enough here in New Zealand to have enough fat on the fiscal register from the previous 9 years of a National led government to survive one crazy ideologically based  socialist government and I believe after the last MMP result which saw the then National government, who had the biggest amount of votes on the day, pushed aside as the three parties with the least amount of support actually got to form a government; and yes I do understand what MMP is about but it's a poor replacement for 'majority rules' democracy...

The so called 'King Maker', NZ First leader Winston Peters, actually lost his seat in parliament based on physical votes on election night only to hang on using a list seat to again dictate who would be government...

Anyway, looking ahead for 2020 I have more than enough irons in the fire to fill in the next 365 days without fear of boredom creeping in...
